All the wonderful imagery I've had in my head for days is completely failing to translate into words. Well no, it's translating alright, but into really, really shitty words. It's not working. I'm going to have to stop and re-think this.
I'll cleanse my mental palate with something else for a while and see if that helps. Disheartening? Try torturous.

The German language has much more powerful words that rhyme than English. One reason I prefer it/ gave up loooong ago trying to translate Rammstein songs better to explain to friends that asked. Your doing fine though, keep at it!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I won't give up. It's far too satisfying! I've started using pages and pages of my notebook (the paper kind) for writing down words that sound right for Till's mood, as well as conveying meaning his do. It's been interesting to say the least. It's certainly not easy.
