Weißes Fleisch is a seriously dark song. I didn't have as much fun as usual with this. Outside of the process of making the English fit Till's singing it was more about getting it right than anything else. After Mann Gegen Mann, which I had a blast working on, this one was sobering in the extreme, but no less a challenge.
I read somewhere that the human fear-excitation response includes the re-routing of blood to fight/flight-essential organs, such as lungs, skeletal muscles, etc, and away from less relevant functions, such as digestion, skin, and the like. Because this song seems to be about a sexual sadist or power/fear sexual offender I've taken the liberty of adding the cooling of the skin that occurs as part of this process to the lyrics. The reason is I needed to counter the problem of the German 'weißes' being duo-syllabic and the English 'white' being mono-syllabic, and I thought I may as well add this progressive detail, rather than repeat the same phrase over and over again. You could also take the progression through hot, warm, and cool, to cold to signify that 'Black-blood' kills 'White-Flesh':
Such white flesh
As you're at school
I am ready to kill
No-one here sees
my loneliness still
Red contusions on your white hide
I hurt you so
and so loudly you cry
Now you're afraid and I'm afire
My black blood stains your clean attire
Your white flesh arouses me so
I am just a gigolo
Your hot white flesh enlightens me
My blackened blood and your pale white flesh
Your cries excite my urges afresh
My perverted mind only harkens now
To the cold sweat on your white brow
Your white flesh arouses me so
I am just a gigolo
As father was I came to be
Your warm white flesh enlightens me
Now you're scared and I'm inspired
but cry to be saved from the fire
Your clear white flesh is my scaffold
And my heaven includes no god
Your white flesh arouses me so
I am just a gigolo
Your cool white flesh enlightens me
As father was I came to be
Your white flesh arouses me so
I am just a sorry gigolo
Your cold white flesh enlightens me
