Rammbike
It's a slow month, but I found something worthy of your attention today: a bike-riding Rammstein fan's tribute to the band.

Mine Stein
Have you got game? Minecraft has brought out the fanboy in many gamers, but this one is the first that I've felt the slightest urge to share here. To those not familiar with the genius of the game it probably looks like something the cat made on the old 386 lost down the back of the couch, but to me it's rather grand. Was the author clever enough to call it Mein Kraft, I wonder? If not he or she bloody well should have.

Big & Beautiful
I know it's off-topic and a little random but I reserve the right to be both, and post a link to this page. These monuments to Sovietism in the former Yugoslavia have to be the most compelling and evocative pieces of design I have ever seen as a collection. And they are a collection. They were apparently commissioned during the 60s and 70s by the then President of the then nation, Josip Broz Tito, to commemorate sites of World War II battles and concentration camps.

Awesome Sauce, Rammheinz *groan*
A recent Heinz sauce promotion has its roots in good, solid German stone. Apparently inspired by the artwork for the LIFAD album, the photos show two men tucking into a young woman in a decidedly LIFADish manner. Very nicely done, and rather amusing in the details.

Thanks to Caro for the push. I saw this a little while ago, and somehow didn't rate it. So daft...

For Good
Lindemann and a bunch of other artists have contributed their mite for a charity. I have no idea which charity or charities are benefiting from this, but I have emailed the organiser to find out, and will update once I hear back.

Weaving Images
Rammstein is inspiring. They inspire writers, photographers, musicians, and artists alike. I've just found a rather a lovely illustrative piece inspired by Mein Herz Brennt.

Ich Tu' Dir Weh Single Cover
[Image removed until I can check that it is appropriate to publish]
TG has confirmed that the image going around fan sites at present is indeed the new single's cover art. Two fish hooks forming a heart feature on a white field, with the Rammstein typeface and that for LIFAD. It is simple, clean, and the lettering is very oddly laid out.
In fact, the lettering is exactly like the original LIFAD heart logo, only more compressed within the hook-heart.
I like it a lot. The image's simplicity and cleanliness belies the gritty darkness of the song perfectly, and will be eye-catching on the shelf...outside of Germany.
