Attendance High

The latest leg of the LIFAD tour has been rather impressive, especially if you consider only the US shows, because we all know Mexico has a long-term love affair with Rammstein, which is entirely reciprocated, and Canada is multilingual anyway. An official source has told me that attendance across this entire leg (including Mexico and Canada) has been around 100,000. That is huge. The USA is a hard market for non-English-singing acts to break into, yet Rammstein has smashed their way in, torched the place, and come away with the sort of attendance number that an English-singing band would be proud of. Way to go Rammstein!

Correction: This figure is not for Canada, USA, and Mexico. It's just for the US and Canada! Awesome :)

LIFAD Wants You

LIFAD has issued an order to the USA, Mexico, and Canada. It wants to see its heart everywhere, and has linked to graphical resources on its site for fans to download. You can make of that what you will, but it sounds like a recipe for an impressive display at the upcoming shows, if enough people get into it.

Extra Mexico Date Added

Rammstein's next tour leg has had such high demand in Mexico (surprise, surprise) that another date has been added (the 27th). That won't satisfy Mexico, but it still rocks.

Mexico in May

Three Mexican dates have been tacked onto the US leg:
5/26 – Mexico City // Sports Palace // on sale: 3/09
5/29 – Guadalajara // Arena VFG // on sale: 3/09
5/31 – Monterrey // Auditorio Banamex // on sale: 3/09

Awesome! They'd be mad not to really. Mexican fans are awesome.

If You're in Mexico

Attend the LIFAD World Summit 2010. I'm expecting to hear that this was one hell of a love-in, so go along, take flowers, take love, then tell me all about it.

Mexico Too

Sorry for the delay. I'm a little slow off the mark on this one. A second Mexico show has been arranged, after tickets for the first sold out straight away. Win!
