RZK & NI

Richard has been interviewed about his relationship with Native Instruments, his set-up, and more. Thanks so much to Sarah for bringing this to my attention. Enjoy!

Rammfire

I'm not a musician, but I'm sure a bunch of you are. Those of you who are will know who Native Instruments are, and will no doubt be interested to know about their new suite of tools, which includes an emulator RZK helped develop:
The new RAMMFIRE amp emulation was developed in close collaboration with one of Rammstein's guitarists, Richard Z. Kruspe, and models the original recording chain that is behind the band's trademark guitar sound. It can be used both as an expansion to the amplifier arsenal in GUITAR RIG 4 and as an individual product in combination with the free GUITAR RIG 4 PLAYER.

For those of you not familiar, Paul has spoken about Guitar Rig.

Paul on Guitar Rig 3

This was posted a few hours ago, and is a subtitled video of Paul talking about how he uses Guitar Rig (and obvsiously has for a while), and how it's even influenced his hardware choices:

Version four of the software apparently came out October last year, so this isn't a new video, but I haven't seen it before (aside from the hair remark at the end), and it's interesting, probably even more so for guitarists than ignorant folk like me. AND it's Paul. Everyone loves Paul.

Update 2010.03.21: I find now that this is from June 2008.
